Randomness

Random thing no. 1: When I was in a pre-school last week, I read stories to a three year old called "Zeus." I was very careful not to annoy him! When you go into schools, you get very used to bizarre names, but I've never found it quite so hard not to laugh.
Random thing no. 2: There's a pub near Pellinor's work that proclaims, "If you enter as a stranger you will only leave as a friend." Pellinor and I both think this is a threat, but no-one at his work seems to think it is. Are we weird, or are they?
Random thing no. 3: I was excited to find "Ptolemy's Gate" in this week's approvals - book three in the series by Jonathan Stroud that started with "The amulet of Samarkand." I was so excited that I grabbed it there and then, took it home... and have proceeded not to open it all weekend.
Oh, and I actually had about nine hours' sleep last night, for the first time in a few years! And I've not procrastinated at all today, and have done lots and lots and lots of useful things. Woo-hoo!
Oh. And now I've just found out that role-playing is happening here tonight. Cleaning was not one of the useful things I did today. Oh dear...
EDIT: And I should add at this point that I am not remotely jealous or bitter or twisted about the fact that certain people have spent the weekend watching Serenity a few hundred times. *gnashes teeth.* Oh no, not jealous at all. *goes muttering back to the cleaning*
