Moving castles and unmoving ferries

Last night, I went to The Mainland to watch Howl's Moving Castle. It was on at annoying times - Too Early, and Too Late. After much debate, we decided to go to the Too Late showing on a Friday. Yes, we wouldn't get home until after midnight, but at least we'd be sober. (Friday nights often end up with wine and song into the wee small hours.)

All went well( ...at first. )
