Curses. I was writing this post in my head this morning, and was going to include a paragraph about how in "the past" (a nice, vague term) it was considered perfectly okay to reinterpret the past in order to preach a modern agenda. I don't know if it's more of a problem now. On the one hand, there is so much information available at the click of a mouse that anyone with even the slightest interest can quickly discover alternative versions. On the other hand, a single film can reach billions of people across the world, so a false interpretation in a film can have a huge impact.
