We both lost, but only because the ferry company cheated. It was a skin of the teeth thin, vacillating between hope and despair, but we drove into the ferry terminal at 3.59... only to find that they'd already closed the door and were starting to move. Our ferry, of course, didn't start closing its doors until two minutes after it was due to leave.
