I'm almost positive it wasn't due to drunken shouting. I do FAR more drunken shouting at a Bellowhead gig, and they never leave me with a sore throat 24 hours later. I reckon there were two plagues going around: the very minor one I had on Tuesday and Wednesday, and the virulent plague that swept through the party from Thursday onwards. Pellinor's had a chesty cough for the last week, but without the other cold symptoms, so I don't know which one he's got.

Hope you're feeling better now! I'm going to make my second attempt to return to work today. At least I slept well last night, and didn't spend the night semi-awake and shivering, babbling about "ice caterpillars" crawling all over my skin, as I did on Wednesday night. :-)
