And of course it's just occurred to me that you might have meant Helene! Who of course is the motivating force behind the Trojan War... I was thinking rather of the story of the Iliad, and of the film Troy, in which Briseis is made much of as Akhilleus' 'love-interest' and is thus the central female character (Helene is just there to look pretty, really, in the film - as indeed is Paris.)
